Attend a Free Screening of Zog and Walk the Red Carpet!

From BBC Shows and Tours:

Don’t miss your chance to walk the red carpet and to enjoy a free screening of BBC One’s Zog before anyone else.

Sir Lenny Henry leads an all-star cast in this new animation, which isn’t broadcast until Christmas. This enchanting version of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved book also features the voices of Tracey Ullman and Kit Harington in the story of a keen but accident-prone dragon who gets himself into mischief whilst learning how to fly, roar, breathe fire and fight knights in his first four years at Dragon School.

Hugh Skinner provides the voice of Zog and Patsy Ferran is Princess Pearl.

Zog is made by Magic Light Pictures, the producers of adaptations of other Donaldson and Scheffler Christmas BBC One adaptations including The Gruffalo, Stickman and The Highway Rat.

As well as a sneak peek of Zog, families will also be able to walk the red carpet and pose for photos with famous props from some of the BBC’s biggest shows - so don’t forget your camera!

Advance screenings of Zog are taking place in Newcastle, Sheffield, Bradford, Birmingham, Liverpool, Salford, Norwich, Lincoln and York.

**Please note while all screenings are indoors (either in a building or our pop-up cinema) the red carpet is outdoors - so please wrap up warm!**

Tickets are free and will be allocated via random draw with 80% of tickets going to local postcodes* and 20% to the rest of the UK.

You can register for tickets at any time until 12 noon on Monday 3 December.

You can apply for a maximum of four tickets and should you be successful, you will only receive tickets for one screening.

Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Photographic proof of ID must be shown by all over 18s. If you cannot provide this proof you will be refused entry. If your photo ID does not match the name on the ticket you will not be admitted.

Please take a look at our FAQ to see what type of photo ID is acceptable.

Admission to these screenings is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
