Tedd Thomey 1920-2008

Writer Tedd Thomey, died last week at the age of 88. Thomey wrote the now cult classic novel, "The Big Love", dictated to him by Florence Aadland. Aadland's daughter, Beverly, an actress, had a scandalous underaged affair with Hollywood legend, Errol Flynn.

The novel contains the infamous opening line: "Now, I want to make one thing clear right off: my baby was a virgin the day she met Errol Flynn."

The book was translated to the stage in 1991. Tracey portrayed Florence, regaling the story of her daughter and old Hollywood. It seems to be believed that Florence is in part the inspiration for the Hollywood makeup artist character, Ruby Romaine, in Tracey's HBO series "Tracey Takes On..."
